Hello as you know, my name is Jonathan Keepler.
I would like to thank Mr. Marriott and the Marriott Foundation for this honor.
I would like to thank my parents for their support, Ms. Lewis, my Coordinator and Mrs. Lumpkin for inspiring me and believing in me. I would like to especially thank Mr. Singleton for believing that I could do the job, and Mr. Willie Smith, Mr. David Nelson and the managers and staff at the Renaissance Concourse for giving me support and guidance.

I AM VERY GRATEFUL FOR MY JOB and I really enjoy what I do at work.I am a very simple person, to be honest; I am shy most of the time. I do not like to speak in front of a large crowd, I am comfortable being in the background and helping out where I’m needed.

My job at the Renaissance suits me well. I make sure that the meeting rooms are set up so that each event is successful, and when I see our guest enjoying themselves, I take pride in the fact that I help to make it a success. I like my job; and I’m happy living at home with my parents. Although I do have dreams of living on my own some day, but for now it’s more important for me to be home with my family.Because I have two very caring parents who also have disabilities. They have taught me to work hard and to value family. This is why I have made the decision to stay at home. My mom who is legally blind needs me. I take her to her doctor appointments and help her run errands in the neighborhood.
It makes me feel good to know that as a young man I can show how much I appreciate them for all that they have done for me throughout my childhood.

I will continue setting goals for myself. In the near future I plan to be promoted to team leader on my job. I know that I can reach this goal because I have learned
THAT WITH GOD
ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!.
Thank you
