Eastside High School

A BIG THANK YOU goes out to all of the Newton County Emergency Response professionals for coming to Eastside to visit the CTI program and talk to the Eastside students about careers in law enforcement, fire fighting, and emergency medical treatment. The students were able to ask specific career/employment questions to a panel of 10 community professionals including Tommy Davis, the Newton County Coroner. After the Q and A session in the auditorium, students were able to tour three types of county emergency vehicles including a sheriff’s patrol car, an ambulance and a county fire truck. All of the students enjoyed the guest speakers and are excited about jobs in the public sector.
