| School News | William S. Hutchings Career CenterThe CTI Students had the opportunity to visit the Macon Campus of Central Georgia Technical College on October 15, 2009. The students were able to talk with instructors about career pathways they were interested in. We also ran into a 2009 graduate Zarian Crump who is studying graphic communications at Central Georgia Technical College. We appreciate the staff at Central Georgia Technical College for the tour and providing information for our students.
Our CTI Advisory Board met on October 21, 2009 at Hutchings Career Center. We discussed plans for the upcoming year, reviewed past activities and planned activities for the future. Our business partners discussed current trends in the economy to help us plan for our students.
CTI students from William S. Hutchings Career Center participated in the Publix Mentoring Day on November 5. They were able to shadow various occupations during the visit.
The CTI program at William S. Hutchings Career Center attended the 2009 CTI Fall Leadership Conference held November 12 and 13, 2009 at the Atlanta Airport Marriott. Our students enjoyed themselves and learned a lot from the leadership development sessions.
