Food Drive

CTI and Skills USA joined efforts to sponsor a food drive to benefit the FISH Food Pantry.  A contest was held to see which 1st period class could bring in the most food items.  The contest ran from November 1-November 10. Coach Kathy Martin’s class won the contest and was rewarded with breakfast.  Bojangle’s Restaurant in Loganville donated the breakfast biscuits.  1524 food items were collected for this very worthy cause.

CTI Students Attend Leadership Training
CTI students from Loganville High, Monroe Area High and Walnut Grove High recently attended BASIC at the Georgia FFA-FCCLA Center in Covington, GA.  BASIC (Building and Achieving Success in Chapters) is a program designed to teach team skills to students in an exciting and hands-on environment.  The program works on increasing chapter unity, building trust, improving communication, and strengthening leadership through team concepts.  Students participated in team initiatives, completed an obstacle course, and spent time planning and scheduling chapter events for the school year.
