Marietta High School

CTI students at Marietta High School (MHS) have had a very productive semester. Several of the CTI seniors attended the Probe College Fair that was held at MHS on September 14, 2009. Other activities the Marietta High CTI students and coordinator have been involved with are:

• Opportunity Day with Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor on Oct. 10, 2009;
• Five CTI Seniors took the GA Work Ready Assessment; one student received a gold certificate;
• CTI students attended the career day that was presented by the local Rotary Club on October 22nd—23rd;
• CTI students and coordinator attended the CTI Fall Leadership Conference on November, 12th and 13th;
• CTI students and coordinator attended the Career Day activities with the Atlanta Thrashers and attended the Thrasher’s game on November 19th 2009;
• Two CTI seniors were nominated Who’s Who at the senior assembly on Dec. 3, 2009.
• CTI students, parents, and coordinator traveled to Warm Springs on Dec.8th, 2009 to visit the Warm Springs Training Facility;
• Participated in bringing can goods to donate to Cobb Christmas;
• CTI students and coordinator are serving the Greenwood Gardens Senior Facility as a community project;
• Looking forward to participating in the Career day with the Atlanta Hawks
