GVRA Enterprise Events
Georgia CTI is proud to partner with the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency (GVRA) to offer a variety of engaging and educational training workshops throughout the year. These events are designed to support students as they explore career paths, develop essential life skills, and prepare for future success.
Past workshops have included opportunities like GROW (Getting Ready for Opportunities for Work), where students learn practical skills for independence and employment; a visit to Fort Valley State University, giving students a firsthand look at college life and programs; and unique experiences such as GVRA Day at the Braves and GVRA Day at the Georgia National Fair, where students combine fun outings with lessons in financial literacy, career awareness, and community connections.
Through this ongoing partnership, GVRA Enterprise Events provide meaningful, hands-on learning that extends beyond the classroom. Each experience is thoughtfully designed to help students build confidence, strengthen workplace readiness, and make informed decisions about their futures.
These events not only benefit students, but also offer teachers and parents insight into the many ways Georgia CTI and GVRA work together to prepare young people for life after high school.
