Wayne County CTI Shows Off Their Creativity

At the Fall Rally at the Georgia National Fairgrounds, Georgia CTI students came together to showcase their boundless creativity in the Youth Educational Exhibits and Competitions. In this spirited event, students showcased their talents in four categories: Pin Design, T-Shirt Design, Banner Design, and Themed Speech. The challenge for the design students? To craft captivating designs that embody the essence of this year's CTI theme - "aCTIvate dreams." The themed speech students were tasked with explaining how impactful Georgia CTI has been in their lives. Every design and speech displayed the talent, determination, and purposeful execution of a diverse skill set that Georgia CTI plays a pivotal role in developing.

Wayne County High School CTI, led by Dr. Olivia Jern, has proven to be a breeding ground for talent and skill development. Four Wayne County High School students demonstrated remarkable creativity and employability skills in the recent competitions. These competitions go beyond artistic expression; they challenge students to embrace project planning, collaboration, and self-advocacy. It's not just about designing eye-catching pins, shirts, or banners; it’s not just about writing and presenting a speech in front of judges and peers; it's about honing the abilities needed to succeed professionally. Read on to glimpse how these students prepared for the competitions and their invaluable insights for aspiring competitors. Their journey is inspiring and a testament to the power of CTI in fostering creativity and essential career skills.
